Fastest production car up the @fosgoodwood Hill in the shootout belongs now to the amazing Ford Mustang Mach-E GT in the hands of precision driver Paul Swift.
All eyes were on the Hill as cars from all eras gathered in the holding area for the Goodwood Festival of Speed presented by Mastercard. Anticipation built as cars as diverse as a pre-war Delage Bequet, BMW M1 Procar and SCG 007 LMH took their turns to race the stopwatch.
The threat of rain kept things interesting, but in the end the surface remained fairly consistent througout. The excitement wasn't the preserve of the sharp end: watching the 1914 Mercedes-Benz overseering through the first corner was a sight to behold, as was Nick Swift's Mini 1275GT as it cornered on three wheels.
In the end, it came down to a straight fight between the McLaren 720S GT3X of Rob Bell and Travis Pastrana's heaviy modified Subaru WRX STI with Rob winning by half a second.
The winner of the fastest road going car went to stunt driver Paul Swift in the Mustang Mach-e GT with a time of 61.9s
